Our Staff
NTEYLC teachers are trained in the field of Early Childhood Education (RECE*) and/or have extensive experience in the childcare field. In addition, all teachers undergo on the job training in the Adlerian philosophy specific to education and the social and emotional development of children in the early years.
Teachers undergo a criminal reference check through the Toronto Police Department and are trained in Standard First Aid and Child centered CPR. Annual Employee Performance Appraisals develop goals consistent with the philosophy of the Centre.
* RECE is the new designation for 'Registered' Early Childhood Educators.
